1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MeetiQ application, website (meetiq.app), and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Side Hustle Software, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Portland, Oregon.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
MeetiQ is a meeting intelligence platform that connects to your organization's calendar systems, detects meetings with 5 or more attendees, collects anonymous post-meeting ratings from attendees, and provides aggregated quality reports to meeting hosts and organizational leaders.
3. Accounts
3.1 Registration
You must create an account to use the Service. You may register using a third-party authentication provider (Microsoft or Google). You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account credentials secure.
3.2 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you become aware of any unauthorized use, notify us immediately at support@meetiq.app.
3.3 Organization Accounts
If your employer or organization has signed up for MeetiQ, your use of the Service may be subject to your organization's policies. Your organization's administrator may have access to aggregated analytics for your organization.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Attempt to identify individual anonymous rating respondents through any means
- Use aggregated meeting data to take punitive action against individual employees based solely on meeting ratings
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without our written consent
- Resell or redistribute access to the Service
5. Calendar Access and Data
5.1 Permissions
To provide the Service, MeetiQ requires read-only access to your connected calendar. We access only the metadata necessary to identify eligible meetings (title, time, duration, attendee count). We never modify, create, or delete calendar events.
5.2 Data Ownership
You retain all ownership of your data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your calendar metadata and meeting ratings solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
6. Anonymity Commitment
MeetiQ is built on a foundation of anonymous feedback. We commit to maintaining the anonymity of individual meeting ratings. Meeting hosts and organizational administrators will only ever see aggregated data. We will not provide any mechanism to identify how a specific individual rated a specific meeting.
7. Subscription Plans and Payment
7.1 Plans
MeetiQ offers multiple subscription tiers (Starter, Team, and Enterprise) with different feature sets, seat limits, and data retention periods. Current pricing is available at meetiq.app/pricing.
7.2 Free Trial / Beta
During the early access period, MeetiQ may be offered free of charge. We reserve the right to begin charging for the Service upon reasonable notice. You will not be charged without your explicit consent.
7.3 Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' written notice.
7.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Upon cancellation, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion, during which time you may export your data.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, code, documentation, branding, and the MeetiQ name and logo, is owned by Side Hustle Software, LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Apple Calendar, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. Your use of these integrations is also subject to those providers' terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Side Hustle Software, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Side Hustle Software, LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
